NIFLEX

[A ruled advertisement in black and white within a single rule. Two lines of bold roman type at the head, each underlined by a thin rule, announce the work. The firm’s name stands below in large condensed capitals, with the abbreviated “Cie” raised, between two thin rules, and the address line follows in lightface type. In the left half a line drawing in heavy black outline shows a saddle frame seen from the side: a bundle of long coiled springs at the top, a bent sheet-metal frame, a clamp, and a set of loose spring rings at the left. Beneath it the word “NIFLEX” is set in outlined capitals with a rule under it and a stepped stroke over its first letter. A column at the right headed “Spécialités” in bold type lists the products, each separated by a short rule. Along the foot three line-engraved drawings of small pressed parts are shown in a row: a ribbed disc attached to a flat bracket, an arched flat plate with a round hole, and a cylindrical sleeve with a ribbed round end. No artist signature or agency mark is visible, and no text from the reverse of the leaf shows through.]

[This advertisement shares page 204 of L’Officiel du cycle with advertisements for Gallet and Guttacoll, each held here as its own record, and one for Jurine.]
