[A large ruled advertisement without an outer frame, built on bands of fine horizontal lines. Across the top two names in large brush script, “Monet Goyon” above a heavy rule and “Koehler Escoffier” below it, each with a long flourish; the first is underlined by the tail of its last letter. At the left two round vignettes sit on stepped horizontal-line grounds, the upper a cyclist seen from the front with his arms spread over the handlebars, the lower a motor with two cylinders inside a clock-like dial with a wavy border. Below them a dark slanted panel carries “présentent” in white script and three lines of white spaced capitals, and two flat black silhouettes show a gentleman’s bicycle and a lightweight motorcycle against line grounds. The text columns at the right are set in a bold geometric sans serif with a drop shadow, under heavy headings “LES VÉLOS” and “LES MOTORISÉS” and a bullet before each model; a pair of heavy curved strokes closes the right edge. A black rounded band across the foot carries the Mâcon and Paris addresses in white spaced capitals. A tiny squiggle between the columns at the lower left is too small to read and was not taken for a signature. No artist signature was seen.]

[This advertisement shares its unnumbered page of L’Officiel du cycle with advertisements for the New-Map importer of the Douglas motorcycle and Yellow chains for the motorcycle.]
