THE BICYCLE OF CHAMPIONS

Masi GC 9700

Also a famed racer, Faliero spent years perfecting Masi’s premier bicycle, the original Gran Criterium. Today Masi is elitely ranked among the world’s greatest frame builders. Exacting attention to hand work, superior materials and quality craftsmanship prevails as the keystone of all Masi bicycles.

Volumetrica MV 9875 Croce D’Aune

Every Masi is built from superior quality materials. Masi pioneered the use of investment cast lugs; today in their third generation. Masi’s select tubes are made of a special alloy for proper rigidity. The tubing is meticulously assembled at each lug point with Masi’s exclusive jigs. This foundation of methodolgy results in a singular frame construction allowing no loss of energy. Every Masi bicycle and frameset receives the same exacting design application and hand detail, regardless of the ultimate customer. Masi’s American consumer market is thriving with the formation of a Masi factory in Southern California. Faliero Masi personally came from Italy to supervise the design and set up of Masi’s only American factory. The Volumetrica, ranked as the lightest steel frame in the world, is currently being redesigned to American specifications. A pioneering racing machine, the Volumetrica is built with oversized tubing sleeved over Masi’s own investment cast lugs.

Record Crono Chorus MR 9950

The list of World Champions and Olympians riding Masi bicycles reads like a cycling Who’s Who: Fausto Coppi, Felice Giomondi, Connie Paraskevin, Mark Gorski and Ken Carpenter headline the list. For over forty years the Masi Gran Criterium has been an international champion. Using a special low temperature brazing process on the Columbus SLX tubing, the Gran Criterium retains precise resilience and stability properties. Certified Masi Master Framebuilders cannot deviate in any manner from the original frame designs of Faliero Masi. Thus absolute methodolgy is necessary to assemble the superior quality bicycles made legendary by the Masi name. Masi’s reputation is built upon years of dedication to the art of constructing handmade racing bicycles. Masi bicycles are assembled to within a thousandths of an inch for championship performance. Aerodynamically superior is the Record Crono, designed with special Columbus tubing for optimum stability, maneuverability and speed.
