[A ruled advertisement in black and white, text only, in a single border with a thin rule that breaks off at the right edge between the upper and lower halves. “Jean BARON” fills the head in very large heavy condensed capitals, with the founding line in small spaced type and the address in bold italic and roman beneath. A band of close vertical lines runs across the panel. Below it two diamond-shaped outlines flank the words “Ses marques”: the left holds the initials “J.B” in roman capitals and the right holds “MYLORD” in bold sans serif capitals. An italic line, underlined, states the guarantee, followed by four lines of product listings in condensed bold type separated by black dots. A ruled line and a closing trade line in heavy condensed type end the panel. Faint text from the reverse of the leaf shows through the lower half. No drawings, signature or agency mark are seen.]

[This advertisement shares page 34 of L’Officiel du cycle with an advertisement for Cholain, held here as its own record, and others for the Terry saddle for motor machines and DIF reflectors for motor vehicles.]
