BILLES CYCLES DE PRÉCISION

En Acier au Chrome

Toutes dimensions

IRM

6, rue de la Sablonnière, PARIS (15e) Tél. : SÉG. 96-66.

[A wide advertisement printed as a reversed panel: the ground is a dark halftone tint and the lettering and drawings are left in the light paper tone. A headline in stencil-cut italic capitals, “BILLES CYCLES DE PRÉCISION”, runs across the full width at the top. Two lines in a brush script, “En Acier au Chrome” at the upper left and “Toutes dimensions” at the lower left, sit in the dark ground, which narrows into a light-flecked wedge toward the right. Six engraved steel balls, drawn with fine line shading and reflected highlights, grow in size from left to right along a thin thread, and the largest is partly covered by a big round monogram of the letters “IRM” in heavy capitals inside concentric rings. A dark band across the foot carries the address, city and telephone number in plain capitals and lowercase. A small vertical S.O.S.P. agency mark shows at the right edge above the band. No artist’s signature is visible.]

[This advertisement shares page 130 of L’Officiel du cycle with an advertisement for Pertuisot.]
