[A tall upright advertisement without a frame, printed in black and a second color, a dull pink, and stacked in three panels. The top panel is a solid black field: six goods are named down the left in heavy pink sans-serif capitals, each underscored by a pink rule, and the first four are glossed at the right in white capitals of two sizes. Below them the firm’s name is set across the full width in very large pink capitals. At the lower right of the black panel a workman is drawn in white line as a cartoon, a round-faced man in a peaked cap and a spotted overall, leaning on a wheel that stands on a low trestle, and his figure breaks out past the foot of the black panel. The middle panel is a flat pink tint: the firm’s name is repeated in large black capitals, with the second brand beside it in a black brush script inside a ruled black oval, and under them three groups of letter-spaced black capitals, the last closed by two short lines of smaller capitals. The lowest panel is cut as a sheet of white paper laid over the pink and tipped slightly to the left with a black drop shadow behind it; a black flag at its top left, drawn with a notched tail and lettered in white, points into it with an arrowhead. On the white sheet the two Salon addresses are set in black capitals of several sizes, three lines each, divided by a long rule, with the stand line at the foot. No signature or agency mark appears.]

[This advertisement shares page 90 of L’Officiel du cycle with an advertisement for the M.R. motor machines of Mandille et Roux.]
