[A full-column advertisement in two zones. The upper part is a large solid black panel between two black vertical bars, with the product words “PNEUS”, “BOYAUX”, “BANDAGES”, “ACCESSOIRES”, “COURROIES” and “TUYAUX” reversed out in white heavy capitals, each underlined by a white rule, their descriptions in white serif capitals to the right, and “HUTCHINSON” in tall white condensed capitals across the foot of the panel. At the lower right a comic line drawing of a bearded man in a top hat and polka-dot overalls bends over a large wheel or drum set in a wooden stand, working at it with a long rod; the figure overlaps the edge of the panel and hides the last letter of the white “HUTCHINSON”. The lower part, on the light paper within a flared outline, repeats “HUTCHINSON” in black condensed capitals with “à l’Aigle” in heavy italic script in a black-outlined oval, and lists the firm’s rubber clothing and footwear. No signature is visible.]

[This advertisement shares page 12 of L’Officiel du cycle with an advertisement for FAC, held here as its own record, and one for the Cucciolo auxiliary motor of M. Rocher.]
