Why GOLDSKINS are the BEST CAPES
1. The Material
Best Egyptian Cotton—the strongest and lightest—is used throughout. Beware of Capes advertised as “Silk,” but actually made of heavier and inferior cotton.
2. The Proofing
The waterproofing oil is, by a special method, forced into the material. The oil being thus in the fibre of the material and not only on the surface the capes will not CRACK.
3. The Finish
The capes are then given a SPECIAL FINISH, leaving a smooth surface preventing any tendency to STICK. Seams are all triple-proofed.
4. The Size
Length at front, 42in., at back, 39in. Very roomy round shoulders, 55in. Full at skirt. 120in. round hem.
5. The Cut
Improved neck opening which entirely prevents the tendency to tear at this point. Thumbloops placed correctly for drop bars.

Made from best quality BLACK BOX HIDE.
(This Hide is used for Heavy Boots, so is absolutely waterproof and exceedingly hard wearing. It has a soft finished surface.)
All straps made of Bridle Leather, with Brass Buckles.
Size 11[…] x 9 x 5 in.
Two large pouches, 7[…] x 4[…] and 1[…] inches deep. Stiffened back with Metal Rod around which pass Saddle Straps. Cape Straps on top, which are sewn and riveted.

Made from Rich Tan Grain Leather with Narrow sewn welt (all sizes to 9 will fit 3[…] in. pedal). Apron-front based on Norwegian Ski-Boot design. Stiffened back. Good solid heel and sole. Will keep out the wettest weather and stand up to the hardest wear.
