[A full-panel advertisement printed in green and black on a cream ground. A thick braided elastic cord, drawn in green with black outline and short hatched strokes across it, loops in a figure-eight shape round the whole panel. At the top center a shield-shaped badge with a green border carries “SANDOWS” across its head, “POUR CYCLES • MOTOS • AUTOS” curved round its sides and the monogram “EFD” in large slanting black letters on a white field. Green slanting capitals at each side of the shield give the two claims. A green rounded bar in the middle holds “DOUBLE COUVERTURE” in cream capitals. A line drawing at the right shows a snap hook at the end of the cord wound with coiled wire, and a cutaway at the lower left shows the cord’s inner strands in black stipple, with green arrows pointing from the green labels to these parts. A second green rounded bar at the foot carries the firm’s name and address in cream type. No signature or agency mark is visible.]
