[A ruled advertisement in black and white, framed by a single rule with a heavy bar across the top and another beneath the panel. The head reads “Les Établissements” in bold italic roman with “T. EBERLEIN” in large heavy roman capitals below it and “présentent…” in italic at the right. Below that a drawing in halftone and fine line shows a horn seen from the side: a long flared brass bell at the left, a rubber squeeze bulb at the right and a small clamp with a screw beneath, for fixing it to a handlebar. Two lines of bold type name the horns and the vehicles. Further down a second drawing in line engraving shows a long, slim cylindrical pump lying horizontal, with a slanted paper label across its middle bearing tiny lettering and three narrow bands near its right end. A line in bold type about the pumps follows, then a short rule, the proprietor’s name, street, town and telephone line, set between pairs of thin horizontal rules, and another short rule above two lines of widely spaced capitals at the foot. The Salon stand line sits outside the frame in lightface type. No artist signature or agency mark is visible, and no text from the reverse of the leaf shows through.]

[This advertisement shares page 208 of L’Officiel du cycle with an advertisement for JB, held here as its own record, and others for Cie des Pompes et Distributeurs and Jolly et Cie.]
