SALON DU CYCLE : PORTE DE VERSAILLES
Stand 85

[A ruled advertisement in black and white inside a heavy double border, the top and bottom edges drawn as thick black bars. “Les Etablissements” is set in slanted italic type at the upper left, and the firm’s name “T. EBERLEIN” follows in very large heavy roman capitals; “présentent…” in slanted italic sits at the right beneath it. Below, a halftone drawing shows a bicycle horn with a flared bell, a metal tube, a clamp for the handlebar and a large dark rubber bulb at the right. The headings “les CORNETS AVERTISSEURS”, with “pour vélos – motos – autos” beneath, are set in bold display capitals with a lighter “les”. A second halftone drawing shows a long horizontal cycle pump in a ribbed barrel with two rings near the right end and a small diagonal label across the middle that reads “L’AERO POMPE”, faintly. The line “les POMPES pour cycles en cuivre et alu” follows in the same bold lettering, then a short rule and the name and address in bold type, with the Paris line flanked by sets of three thin horizontal lines. A last panel, in widely spaced capitals, gives the Salon announcement, and “Stand 85” sits between two thin double rules at the foot. No signature or agency mark is visible, and no text from the reverse of the leaf shows through.]

[This advertisement shares page 182 of L’Officiel du cycle with advertisements for Niflex and Cagnion, each held here as its own record.]
