MOYEUX POUR CYCLES

E. PERRIN

BOËN-sur-LIGNON (Loire)

[Design: the whole advertisement is printed sideways on the page, turned a quarter turn so that it reads from top to bottom with the page rotated clockwise; it is transcribed here in reading order. Inside a heavy ruled frame, the ROM trademark is a large disk drawn as concentric hatched arcs, with the bold letters “R” and “M” set on it either side of a ball bearing that stands for the “O”: a ring of balls around a hexagonal axle nut. Overlapping the disk is a rectangle with clipped corners holding the text: “MOYEUX POUR CYCLES” in condensed capitals over a rule, “E. PERRIN” in large open condensed capitals, the town in bold capitals and “(Loire)” in small italic. No signature or agency mark.]

[This advertisement shares page 26 of L’Officiel du cycle with an advertisement for Captivante, held here as its own record, and one for the Carley motocycle of M. Rocher.]
