[A full-page advertisement drawn in cream line on a solid black ground, roughly printed. A large “CLB” monogram, the “L” and “B” set inside a broken circle formed by the “C,” stands at the left of center on a cream starburst whose rays spread into the black. Around it some twenty parts are drawn in simple cream outline with dark detail, each with its name hand-lettered in small capitals on a cream label: side-pull caliper brakes stamped “CLB” on their arms, brake levers, a center-pull brake to be brazed on, a cantilever brake, a handlebar stem, a wing nut, a front derailleur with a chainring and a length of chain, chainguards pierced with slots and stamped with the “CLB” roundel, a cyclotourist’s rack, a moped handlebar with its grip and brake lever, a child’s pedal block and a pair of drop handlebars with brake levers. The central offer is hand-lettered in a rounded script on a cream panel with “ses nouveautés” underlined. The firm’s name and Saint-Étienne address run across the foot in black condensed capitals on the cream margin. Several labels are worn in the printing: the first word of the “3 ATTACHES LARGE” label and parts of the “PAPILLON” label are broken. No signature is visible.]

[This advertisement shares page 58 of L’Officiel du cycle with advertisements for J. Baron and Sonnclair, each held here as its own record, and one for Monopole pistons.]
