[A full-page advertisement printed as a black field with rounded corners, on which the CLB range is drawn in white line, each part tagged with a small cream label in hand-lettered sans-serif capitals. At the head stand three caliper brakes lettered “CLB” on their arms, a brazed-on center-pull brake, a cantilever brake and three brake levers; at the left a handlebar stem and a wing nut; down the left side three chainguards of different patterns, the last with a “CLB” roundel, and a child’s pedal extension clamped to a crank; at the right a chainring with a chainguard and a cyclomoteur handlebar with its lever and grip; at the foot a front carrier rack, a dropped handlebar with levers and a fourth chainguard. At the center the monogram “CLB” in heavy black stencil-like capitals sits in a white burst of rays, with the sales line hand-lettered in black on a cream panel below. The Saint-Étienne address runs in bold condensed capitals on a cream strip across the foot. The final figure of the “Course C.S” label and the first word of the “3 attaches” label are broken in the printing. No artist’s signature is visible.]

[This advertisement shares page 82 of L’Officiel du cycle with advertisements for the Terry saddle for motor machines and E. Perrin RMM drum brakes.]
