[A ruled advertisement in black and white, framed by a thin double-line border that is broken at the top by a shield. The shield, solid black with a pointed base and short radiating lines above its shoulders, carries the letters “CIZ” reversed out in white as a monogram: a large rounded C at the left, a tall narrow vertical bar with a square dot above it for the I at the center and a blocky Z at the right. Below it “MANUFACTURE DE” is set in heavy spaced sans-serif capitals and “CADRES DE LUXE” in large light italic capitals running across the full width. Two pairs of thin rules enclose the middle block, where a line in condensed sans-serif lowercase lists the special frames for racers and touring cyclists above a bold line in a wide face for children’s bicycles. The firm’s name “Ets J. Cizeron” fills the lower part in large bold roman letters with flared strokes, and the address, city and telephone number close the panel in one line of bold condensed type. No drawing other than the shield is present, and no artist signature or agency mark is visible. The top of the shield’s radiating lines touches the upper edge of the crop.]

[This advertisement shares page 138 of L’Officiel du cycle with an advertisement for Sova, held here as its own record, and one for the Souriau flywheel test bench.]
