[An upright advertisement in black, the text inside a thin rule and the mark standing above it. The trade mark is a solid black shield with a notched top, breaking through the head of the rule and drawn with short radiating strokes above its shoulders as though it were shining; the three letters of the mark are reversed out of it in white, the middle one a lower-case letter with a separate dot, and larger ghost letters show faintly in the black behind them. Inside the panel the first line is set in a heavy sloping sans-serif of letter-spaced capitals and the second much larger in the same sloping face, the joining word in small capitals. Four more lines follow in bold sans-serif lower case and capitals, stepped to the right down the panel one after another. The firm’s name is set across the foot in very large bold sans-serif capitals and lower case, and the last line gives the telephone number, street address and town in bold capitals and lower case. No drawing of a product and no signature or agency mark is present.]
[This advertisement shares page 164 of L’Officiel du cycle with advertisements for Sonnclair, Bernardon and Vynex, each held here as its own record.]
