[A ruled advertisement in black and white. Inside it, a heavy black bracket frame, open at the top and sides, encloses a line drawing of the rear of a bicycle seen at an angle from behind: the seat stays and chainstays, the rear hub with its axle and a multiple freewheel of several sprockets, a derailleur with its jockey wheels hanging below the dropout, and the chain running up diagonally to the chainwheel and crank at the top. The name “Brampton” crosses the drawing diagonally in very large black script, its tail swept into a rule. The slogan sits in spaced black capitals at the lower left; a black band at the foot of the frame carries the quality line in white capitals, with the gear line in italic capitals in a white box beneath. The Salon line runs below the frame. No signature or agency mark.]

[This advertisement shares page 100 of L’Officiel du cycle with an advertisement for Sturmey-Archer, held here as its own record, and others for Magnéto-France magnetos and Staub gearboxes.]
