[An upright advertisement in black inside a thin rule, text and one drawing. The opening line is set in roman italic and closed by a rule that runs most of the width. The firm’s style follows in a light sans-serif line of capitals and lower case, the surname under it in very large letter-spaced slab-serif capitals, and the street address and town in bold sans-serif below. At the middle a front hub is drawn in fine line engraving, seen from the side and almost filling the width: a large flat flange at each end pierced by two staggered rings of spoke holes, the barrel between them turned and hatched, a round trade medallion with rays stamped on the barrel and lettered with the model name, and the threaded axle ends projecting left and right with cones and locknuts. Two lines of heavy sans-serif describe the hub, the model name in quotation marks. Below them two product lines are set with the class in bold sloping lower case at the left and the trade name in very large upright capitals in quotation marks at the right, the second name running nearly the full width. The last line is set in small letter-spaced slab-serif capitals. No signature or agency mark is present.]
[This advertisement shares page 164 of L’Officiel du cycle with advertisements for Sonnclair, Cizeron and Vynex, each held here as its own record.]
