SALON du CYCLE : Stand 94.

[A ruled advertisement in black and white inside a thin single-line border. Two lines of slab-serif type, “Depuis 59 ans” and “les Selles de Grandes Marques”, run across the head. The name “BAURIAT” follows in very large heavy roman capitals filling the full width. In the middle a fine line engraving shows a leather racing saddle from above, long and narrow at the nose and broad at the rear, with a darker grained rim punched with round and slotted holes, a keyhole-shaped slot in the center, a lighter finely hatched top and the word “BROWN” stamped in small oval cartouches on both sides and along the rear edge. Below the drawing “BROWN” stands in equally large, widely spaced roman capitals, then “sont toujours et partout les premières” in slab-serif type and a last line of small capitals giving the Salon and stand number. No signature or agency mark is visible, and no text from the reverse of the leaf shows through.]

[This advertisement shares page 190 of L’Officiel du cycle with an advertisement for SBAFM, held here as its own record, and one for Novi spare parts.]
