[A ruled advertisement in black and white, a tall panel inside a thin border that is thickened into a drop shadow along the right side and the foot. Centered lines of text run down the panel: an introductory sentence in a plain roman face, then “BAURIAT”, “BROWN” and “TERRY” each in very large heavy slab-serif capitals and separated by thin rules, with lines of lowercase roman and slanted italic between them. In the lower half a bicycle saddle is drawn in fine line engraving, seen from the side and slightly below: a leather top with stitched edges, a small oval badge on the side lettered “TERRY” with a smaller line beneath, and three coil springs under the seat held on a metal frame with two short posts. A short line “à 3 ressorts” sits above the saddle at the right and a patent note stands at the left. A final line in slanted bold lowercase runs across the foot. The firm is named only in the text. No artist signature or monogram is visible.]

[This advertisement shares its unnumbered page of L’Officiel du cycle with an advertisement for A.T.G., held here as its own record, and one for A.C. spark plugs for motorcycle engines.]
