[A ruled advertisement printed in green and black, a tall panel inside a thick rounded green border. At the top a round seal in black and green carries “SANDOWS” and “POUR CYCLES” curved around its rim in heavy capitals with the letters “A.T.G” in the center; a bold serif caption stands at each side of it. Beneath the seal the title “LE DOUBLE TRESSE” is set in large slanted green capitals over a thick green bar. The center is a line drawing of an elastic cord with a wire hook at the top end: the outer braid is drawn green with a dark pattern and is cut back to show a white cotton braid and then a bundle of rubber strands at the lower end. Three captions with ruled leader lines and arrows name the layers. A line of slanted italic capitals invites the reader to ask for the catalog. A black banner with pointed ends across the foot carries the firm name, address and telephone line in cream lettering. Small vertical lettering at the right edge of the panel reads “PUB. S.O.S.P”. No artist signature or monogram is visible.]

[This advertisement shares its unnumbered page of L’Officiel du cycle with an advertisement for Bauriat, held here as its own record, and one for A.C. spark plugs for motorcycle engines.]
