[A ruled advertisement printed in two colors, green and black, taller than wide, inside a thick green rounded border. At the top center a round badge in black and green carries the name SANDOWS curved along the upper rim, POUR CYCLES along the lower rim and the letters A.T.G in a white ring at the middle; heavy serif phrases in black flank it, two lines at each side. Beneath it the headline “LE DOUBLE TRESSE” is set in green italic capitals above a thick green rule. The main drawing shows an elastic cord with a wire hook, drawn in fine line, bent in an S shape and cut away in stages: the outer braid is shaded in green with a netted pattern, an inner braid of white cotton shows under it and a bundle of rubber strands appears at the cut end. Three labels in hand-lettered type are tied to these layers by ruled lines with arrowheads. A line in slanted lettering asks for the catalog. The firm’s name, address and telephone line are reversed in white on a black arrow-ended band across the foot. The agency mark “PUB. S.O.S.P” runs vertically along the right margin in small capitals. No artist signature or monogram is visible.]

[This advertisement shares its unnumbered page of L’Officiel du cycle with an advertisement for Selectic, held here as its own record, and one for the AC Coralox spark plug.]
