[An advertisement in black on a field screened in a coarse halftone dot pattern, with large cream areas left clear around the drawings. “Garde boue” is lettered across the head in heavy black italic capitals over the dot screen. In the upper half two motorcycle-style mudguards are drawn in line with hatched shading, one with a round end flap labeled “type à bavette” and one with a deep valanced skirt labeled “type à bavolet”, and a black tag with a hooked arrow marks them “cyclomoteurs”. A black band slanting across the middle carries “A.M.B” in large white heavy capitals, the full name “Ateliers Mécaniques de Bagnolet” in white italic capitals and the Bagnolet address and telephone in white and black bold type. In the lower half a black tag “vélos” points to a long bicycle mudguard drawn in sections labeled for steel or light alloy, with arrows leading to three circles that show its cross-sections, “type rond”, “type spécial décoratif” and “type tuile”. “Catalogue gratuit sur demande” is set in spaced capitals at the lower right beside a small boxed vertical agency mark reading “SOSP”. A closing line across the foot is cut through by the lower edge of the page, so that only the tops of its capitals remain, apparently “Modèles divers sur demande”. No artist’s signature is visible.]

[This advertisement shares page 98 of L’Officiel du cycle with an advertisement for Sider, held here as its own record, and one for Luxor headlamps for motor machines.]
