A broad black band with rounded upper corners carries “VÉLODÉCOR” across the full width in very large condensed sans-serif capitals reversed out in white. Below it at the left a rough-edged black patch with brushed, torn sides holds “Chez votre Grossiste” in white hand-drawn script set on a slant over a white underline. At the right “DÉCALCOMANIES POUR CYCLES” is set in large light sans-serif capitals, the range of rings, badges, sleeves, pockets and models to the maker’s order in widely spaced thin capitals, and “VÉLODÉCOR” again in bold italic capitals followed by “fabrique !” in script with a tall exclamation stroke. A rounded box along the foot gives wholesale sale, samples and the Lyon address in condensed capitals. No drawing, signature or agency mark appears.
