At the upper left is the firm’s trademark, a shaped tablet in solid black carrying “V & W” in large white letters, the ampersand set small between the two letters, with “SPECIALITES POUR MOTOCYCLETTES” in small white capitals ranged around them. The head beside it is two lines of bold sans-serif capitals of mixed size. Under the head the goods are listed in a center column in large light letter-spaced sans-serif, each entry on its own line and the longer ones running over to a second, indented line; “Siège arrière” is set apart at the upper left of that column, with a small black lozenge between it and the list. The engravings, all line work with hatched shading, are: at the upper left a rear seat with two round footrests on its bent arms; at the upper right a bottle holder of strap and band work, drawn with dotted lines showing how it mounts; below it a round mirror on a long cranked stem ending in a clip; at the middle left a leg guard; beside it a center stand; and along the foot a large deeply sprung pillion seat seen from the left side, its flank carrying the “V & W” mark, with a telescopic unit and a spring drawn at the lower right. The firm’s name and address close the panel at the lower right in three lines, “ÉTS V & W” in heavy fat-face roman over the street and the town in a lighter roman. No signature or agency mark appears, and no type from the reverse of the leaf shows through.]
