[A large advertisement across the lower half of the page: a black panel with rounded corners inside a thin outer rule. At the upper left a white starburst with a toothed edge, like a large sprocket, frames an engraved drawing of the Torpedo coaster-brake hub seen at an angle: the hub shell with its two spoke flanges, the sprocket and axle nut at the right and the brake arm with its clip at the left; the shell is lettered “F.&S. Schweinfurt”, “Torpedo” and “System Sachs D.R.P.” around a small winged emblem, and the brake arm carries “Torpedo” in script. The headline “inimitable !” runs in large white brush script across the top right, and the name “Torpedo” in a very large white outlined script with a long swash underline holding “D’ORIGINE” in a small white plate. A tilted white card at the lower left gives the Salon and stand. A white band at the foot, with rounded corners, carries the distributor’s name and address. Agency mark “Pub Cadot” in small type at the lower right. A crease runs across the word “Torpedo” in this copy, and type from the reverse of the leaf shows through the paper, most strongly at the right and in the white band.]

[This advertisement shares page 84 of L’Officiel du cycle with advertisements for VBF and Porthor, each held here as its own record.]
