Inside the walled city of Treviso, Italy, lies the workshop of Giovanni Pinarello. It has occupied the same location for over 40 years. While increasing demand for Pinarello bicycles has forced Pinarello to move the manufacturing phase of his business to larger quarters outside the city, he still oversees all production to insure that his exacting standards are upheld. This attention to detail has made Pinarello the framebuilder of champions.
Giovanni Pinarello’s passion for bicycle racing has provided the background for many technological innovations. Details like the special bridgeless bottom bracket shell, plug-in cast fork tips and stay ends, and exclusive cast rear brake bridge exemplify Pinarello’s contribution to the advancement of bicycle design.
GAVIA. For the first time. Pinarello will offer a production model with head and seat angles which are not parallel. Gavia will be offered in Columbus TSX tubing with geometry which provides more saddle setback than his standard design. This, combined with traditional Pinarello features such as the exclusive investment cast conjunctions, mean there is an exciting new choice in the Pinarello line.
