Sulle famosissime «BLU» torinesi hanno corso e vinto: Zilioli, De Vlaeminck, Sercu, Panizza, Bertoglio, De Muynck, Galdos, Godefroot, Thurau, Fernandez, Pollentier, De Wolf, Grewal, Hampsten…
I continui studi sulla base diretta delle esperienze in corsa, hanno portato la GIOS a risultati tecnici davvero eccezionali.
Ultimo in ordine di tempo il brevetto internazionale dei forcellini posteriori per bicicletta da corsa.
Il nuovo telaio GIOS «COMPACT PLUS» o GIOS «COMPACT K K», con forcellini posteriori brevettati, permette il posizionamento millimetrico con escursione longitudinale della ruota posteriore senza variare la geometria del telaio stesso. In questo modo si migliorano le prestazioni generali del mezzo in quanto la ruota posteriore, nella posizione di massimo avvicinamento al tubo verticale del telaio, offre una altissima resa nei percorsi in salita ma è anche molto adatta in quelli di pianura o vallonati. Inoltre l’inserimento della ruota in verticale permette anche al neofita un rapido e perfetto posizionamento della stessa senza particolari accorgimenti tecnici.

The latest of these is the international patent for the rear fork on racing bicycles.
The new frame GIOS «COMPACT PLUS» or GIOS «COMPACT K K», with its patented rear forks-end allows ultra-fine setting and lengthwise excursion of the rear wheel without altering the frame geometry. This improves the bike’s general performance, since when the rear wheel is brought as close as possible to the upright tube of the frame excellent results are obtained in climbs and this position is also well suited to flat or rolling country. In addition, insertion of the wheel in the vertical position means that the novice can position it both quickly and perfectly without having to make any special technical adjustments.
