ARMES DE CHASSE

[A ruled advertisement in black and white, a tall panel inside a thin rule, with no illustration. The firm’s name stands across the head in very large heavy sans-serif, “Ets” in upper and lower case and “PIAT” in capitals, with the address below in light sans-serif and the telephone centered on its own line. A small wavy ornament divides the heading from the three lines naming the goods, the first and third in bold rounded sans-serif and the middle line in letterspaced light roman capitals. A second wavy ornament sits above the two marques, which fill the lower part in very large letterspaced roman capitals, “NERVALUX” over “STAINLESS”. The last line, “ARMES DE CHASSE”, is centered in small bold capitals between two long rules that end in solid blocks at the left and the right. No second color is used, no signature or agency mark appears, and no text from the reverse of the leaf shows through.]

[This advertisement shares page 148 of L’Officiel du cycle with advertisements for Ateliers du Dorlay, Clément-Bayard and CLEM, each held here as its own record.]
