[A ruled advertisement in black and white, a single rectangular panel with a thin rule. At the head a line engraving shows two eagles with spread wings facing each other, each gripping one end of a pair of cycle hubs joined by a long axle, the birds drawn in heavy outline with feathered shading and a large feather carried between their beaks across the top. Below it the heading runs two lines in large shaded slab-serif letters, “Les Moyeux” in upper and lower case and “PELISSIER” in letterspaced capitals, with the three model names on one line in light roman divided by dashes. A solid lozenge separates the heading from the firm’s name, which is set as “ETABLISSEMENTS” in small spaced capitals over “PÉLISSIER ET SES FILS” in heavy slab-serif capitals and small capitals, with the street address and town on one line and the telephone below. A second lozenge sits above the closing line of letterspaced roman giving the year of foundation. No second color is used, no signature or agency mark appears, and no text from the reverse of the leaf shows through.]

[This advertisement shares page 144 of L’Officiel du cycle with advertisements for S.E.M., Chaluret and Yvars, each held here as its own record, and one for Mérat seats for motor machines.]
