[A ruled advertisement in black and white, enclosed by a thin rule with a heavy bar across the top and the foot. “SPÉCIALITÉS” is set small in spaced sans-serif capitals above the marque name “PATURAUD”, which runs across the head in very heavy sans-serif capitals, with a short double rule beneath it. Two line engravings sit side by side below the heading: at the left a toe clip with its strap curling back, the clip drawn in outline with the strap hatched, over a two-line bold caption; at the upper right a pair of leather-sheathed toe clips with a strap looped out to a buckle, the word PATURAUD lettered on the sheath and again along the strap, with a four-line bold caption beside it. The body is organized under three bold sans-serif headings, each underscored by a rule, with light sans-serif text beneath. Two lines of bold italic follow, the second flanked by short dashes. The firm’s name sits at the foot in large heavy sans-serif capitals, with the trade description in italic under it, then the address and telephone in bold, and a last italic line giving the Salon stand. No second color is used, no signature or agency mark appears, and no text from the reverse of the leaf shows through.]
