[A full-width ruled advertisement, mostly text. The head line reads “Les Établissements ONOTO – Fondés en 1906”, with ONOTO in tall condensed black capitals and the rest in a heavy condensed face. Below it the capital line is in italic roman, the surface figures in bold wide type and the production list in a plain sans-serif, with a bold italic line announcing the 1953-1954 range. The list sits in two columns: its first lines run the full width, then the vélomoteur lines and the first “DEMANDEZ” block narrow to a column at the left. At the right of that column a halftone picture shows a lightweight motorized cycle in three-quarter view from the front left, with a telescopic fork, a headlamp, a tank lettered ONOTO, a small engine under the frame, a saddle and a rear luggage rack; the name ONOTO also appears on the frame. A second “DEMANDEZ” block in bold capitals with a paragraph of ordering terms runs the full width beneath it. A double rule separates the foot, where “Ecrivez à :” in bold italic stands above the firm’s name and address in large bold roman and italic capitals. A small signature, apparently L. SANSO, stands at the lower right of the drawing and is not fully clear.]

[This advertisement shares page 86 of L’Officiel du cycle with an advertisement for Christophe, held here as its own record, and one for Gurtner carburetors.]
