[A ruled advertisement in black and white. A heavy black L-shaped bar runs down the left side and across the top, and “POUR VOS..” is lettered above it in heavy rounded sans serif capitals. The front of a bicycle frame is drawn in bold pen line with solid black tubes: the top tube, the head tube carrying a shield-shaped head badge, the down tube with a transfer and decorative bands, and the fork with its crown and the front wheel and mudguard. Hand-lettered labels with leader lines point to each decoration: “DÉCALCOMANIE GLISSANTE” and “ÉCUSSON MÉTAL” in rounded capitals, “bandeaux décoratifs” and “queue de billard” in a slanting hand, and a two-word label at the upper right in a rough script that cannot be read with confidence. The firm’s name “Ets E. MULIN” is reversed out in large pale capitals in a black band across the foot, with the founding date, the Lyon address and the telephone below it. No signature appears.]
[This advertisement shares page 126 of L’Officiel du cycle with advertisements for Reydel and Rivory, each held here as its own record, and others for Brown dual seats, the Elka cable pliers, R.G. reboring hones and Ferrand gloves and clothing.]
