[A ruled advertisement in black and white, a tall panel inside a thin rectangular border. The head of a bicycle frame is drawn in line work with solid black fill: the head tube with its cap at the top, a short length of top tube running left, the down tube running to the lower left and one fork blade with an arc of front tire behind it. Handwritten-style captions with arrows point to the parts: “fausse vis genre Parker” at the head cap, “ÉCUSSON MÉTAL” at a small head badge, “DÉCALCOMANIE GLISSANTE” at an oblong transfer on the down tube that carries the lettering “NILUM”, “bandeaux décoratifs” at the decorative bands on the tube and “queue de billard” at the tapered fork blade. “POUR VOS . .” stands at the upper left in heavy capitals above a thick black bar down the left side. A dark band across the foot carries the firm name in large cream capitals, with the foundation date, the street address with the Lyon district and the telephone line below. No artist signature or monogram is visible.]

[This advertisement shares page 17 of L’Officiel du cycle with advertisements for IRM, IEP and Arpenteur, each held here as its own record, and others for the Flector quick pump connector, a printing price request and Metwar sewing-machine needles.]
