[An advertisement, taller than wide, in a thin outer frame. A heavy black L-shaped band runs down the left side and across the foot, where the firm’s name and address are set in white capitals. Inside the angle is a pen drawing of the front of a bicycle frame (head tube, top tube, down tube, fork and part of the front wheel and mudguard), labeled with hand-lettered captions and pointer lines: the down-tube transfer (“décalcomanie glissante”), the checkered decorative bands, the metal head badge with its false Parker-type screws, and the tapered fork blade (“queue de billard”). The down-tube transfer is lettered with what appears to be the name “MULIN”, seen reversed from this side, and the head badge shows a partial “MUL” [?]. There is no signature or agency mark.]

[This advertisement shares page 140 of L’Officiel du cycle with advertisements for Plasoline, CVF, Birdo and Duprat, each held here as its own record, and others for the A.L.C. cable lock of Éts Lecoeuvre, the Héloïsa speedometer (no vehicle named) and Dupont’s motorized invalid carriage.]
