[A full-page advertisement printed in black on a pale green ground, between heavy rules at head and foot with thin rules at the sides. The opening lines stand at the upper right in light sans-serif capitals, the second ending in a bold condensed “MECANO.” “LES BAVETTES A RESSORT” is set in spaced sans-serif capitals above “MECANO” in very large light roman capitals, with the patent claim and number beneath in smaller sans-serif. The list of vehicles follows in a large light roman, then two italic sans-serif lines. A star sits above and below the workshop name and Paris address. The warning against counterfeits closes the panel at the lower right in bold italic roman, with “MECANO” underlined. At the lower left a drawing shows a spring mudflap in solid black, its upper end held on the mudguard by a clamp band with a screw and a spring bracket, the guard and stays sketched in thin lines; a round badge on the flap is lettered “MECANO” and “PARIS” round its rim with a small star between, and a round stud sits beside it. No signature appears on the drawing.]

[This advertisement shares page 66 of L’Officiel du cycle with advertisements for the Briban auxiliary engines and the Cyclomo honing machine.]
