[A tall narrow advertisement set in type alone, with no illustration, enclosed in a single rule set a little inside the outer edge. The first word stands at the head in large letter-spaced slab-serif capitals, with the uses under it in bold sans serif capitals, “VELOS” set without its accent. A solid round bullet divides the panel. The second half repeats the product word in bold sans serif, gives the brake option in light and bold sans serif, and sets the two trade names very large in heavy slab-serif capitals with a small “et” between them. A short centered rule follows, and the company block closes the panel in seven short centered lines, the firm’s name in bold capitals and the company form, capital, street and town in smaller letter-spaced type. No second color, no agency mark and no artist’s signature appear.]

[This advertisement shares page 172 of L’Officiel du cycle with advertisements for Duprat, Blindex, Bufflier, ALC, EMD, NAP and Elté, each held here as its own record.]
