[A ruled advertisement in black and white within a single thin frame. “LA PITCHOUNE II” stands across the head in large heavy roman capitals between quotation marks, over a line in spaced light sans-serif on carrying children in safety. At the right a line engraving shows a single-wheeled trailer for a bicycle in side view: a long curved drawbar rising to a hitch, a closed body shaped like a teardrop and shaded in fine horizontal lines, a small windscreen at its front, an oval side window and a stippled roof, and a spoked wheel under a mudguard at the rear. At the left the claims are set in bold condensed sans-serif, the features in a list of light sans-serif, and two lines on other utility models in small spaced capitals between dots. The maker’s name, Marvel, its Paris address and telephone close the panel at the lower left, and “Modèle déposé” is set small in roman at the lower right corner. No signature or agency mark appears. Faint text from the reverse of the leaf shows through the background.]

[This advertisement shares its unnumbered page of L’Officiel du cycle with advertisements for Argaud, Gallet, Fiducia and L’Emboutissage Industriel, each held here as its own record, and others for Pertuisot connecting-rod and cylinder repairs and the Mini-Motor auxiliary engine.]
