The title, headings, captions and lists are transcribed as printed; the text is summarized in Ebykr’s words, and the page images carry it in full.

Onoto
[Ebykr summary; the article’s text is not reproduced. The notice presents the Établissements BOURGEOIS of Dôle (Jura) as the very model of the old French family business grown into a large regional firm whose products are appreciated across the country. M. BOURGEOIS, still active in spite of his age, is the moving spirit and is seconded by his son-in-law, the manager of the house. The firm was already making 125 bicycles a day in 1936 and keeps modernizing and following progress. Its means allow this, since it owns three factories at Dôle: one for spare parts for cycles and motorcycles, a second for machining and assembly, a third for enameling, nickel plating and assembly, with a floor area of some 4.000 square meters. The notice then asks what the production program of ONOTO (the firm’s brand) is and answers with a list, given here as printed.]

[A magazine notice in the firm’s column, with a large ruled illustration set across the lower part of the text. The heading “Onoto” stands at the head of the column in heavy bold sans-serif type, right aligned, below a small black star. The body is set in a justified sans-serif face with indented paragraphs and dashed list lines. The ruled panel holds one large line engraving of a motorized cycle seen from its right side, drawn in fine hatching and cross-hatching with solid black for the mudguards and tank: a sprung saddle and a flat luggage rack over the rear wheel, a long tank carrying the word “Onoto” in script lettering, a finned engine cover marked “Ydral”, a long cylindrical silencer, a telescopic fork with a headlamp and two handlebar grips, and spoked wheels with deep mudguards. The drawing is signed “Rebour” in script at the lower right, inside the frame, with a small monogram of linked letters. There is no caption. At the right edge of the crop the beginning of the next column shows as clipped lines of text, cut off by the edge of the image.]
