FABRICATION CINQUANTENAIRE

USINES “ONOTO” 5,7,9, Faubg de Chalon DÔLE [?] (Jura)

[A finely shaded line drawing of the Onoto Le Brack moped in side view fills the center of a ruled horizontal panel: a teardrop tank with the Onoto name in script, a telescopic fork, deeply valanced front mudguard, an enclosed engine and chain run, a sprung saddle and a rear carrier. The drawing is signed “Rebour” in script inside his ruled monogram, on the ground line just behind the foot of the front wheel and to the left of the lowered pedal. At right the ONOTO name is stacked vertically in huge black letters, the three O’s each framing a small drawing of a bicycle, a moped and a motorcycle; a tilted Motul Mix-Courses oil sticker sits at lower left, a hand-lettered call to agents runs at upper right, and the works address is reversed out of a black band at the foot of the right-hand block beneath a tilted “Fabrication cinquantenaire” label.]

[This advertisement shares page 12 of L’Officiel du cycle with advertisements for Mascoto visors from Oto, the Monoto voiturette and Varay et Magnenant motorcycle parts.]
