[A ruled advertisement in black and white. At the upper left a small child in a loose smock rides a tiny bicycle with fat tires, drawn in cartoon pen line, and at the upper right a helmeted motorcyclist leans into a bend with speed lines behind him. “Moi aussi” is written in bold brush script beside the child, followed by three lines of heavy lowercase sans serif and “grâce au frein” in spaced bold letters. “LAM” stands very large in heavy slab capitals with “TAMBOURIN” in quotation marks below in sans serif capitals; a brake cable drawn in fine line crosses the words. The lower right is a detailed pen drawing of the LAM Tambourin rear hub brake in place: the brake drum with its shoe and cable, the reaction arm clamped to the chainstay, the axle nut, the sprocket and chain and the spokes, drawn in clean line with light hatching and signed “Rebour” with Daniel Rebour’s boxed underline at its lower right. A tall black column at the left holds six selling words reversed out in spaced sans serif capitals, and a small pale box at its foot holds “Technique et documentation aux” in bold roman, leading to the firm’s name “Ets H. LAMARQUE” and its Paris address reversed out of the black band across the foot. The agency mark “PubliCycle” runs vertically in pale letters at the upper left edge.]

[This advertisement shares page 108 of L’Officiel du cycle with an advertisement for Pivo, held here as its own record, and one for Rod 88 goggles.]
