[An upright advertisement inside a thin black rule, printed in black on the untinted paper. The head word is set across the top in very large letter-spaced slab-serif capitals, with two short lines of heavy sans-serif capitals stacked at the right of it. One line of roman italic follows, the trade name of the suspension in guillemets, then a line of letter-spaced sans-serif capitals. Two line engravings, hatched for the shading, fill the upper and the lower thirds. The first shows the rear half of a bicycle at the left, saddle, mudguard, chainset and rear wheel, with a two-wheeled box trailer coupled to it by a long drawbar that runs from the seat post: an open tubular rack body with a slatted floor and a spare wheel carried inside, the near road wheel large and fully spoked with a mudguard. The second shows a bicycle’s rear wheel at the left and a single-wheeled trailer behind it, a shallow tubular body with a plank floor and one spoked wheel at the back, the drawbar running from the rear hub. Between and under the drawings the classes of vehicle are named in heavy condensed sans-serif capitals, stepped to the right down the panel, each followed by a short phrase in roman italic capitals or in light sans-serif. The last of these lines names the rolling stock and the users in a light sans-serif. Across the foot the maker’s name is set in very large letter-spaced slab-serif capitals with its trade word in smaller letter-spaced capitals below, and at the right the street address, the arrondissement and the telephone line are set in letter-spaced capitals and bold lower case. No signature or agency mark is present.]

[This advertisement shares page 162 of L’Officiel du cycle with advertisements for Lambert et Cagnon and CAMCL, each held here as its own record, and one for Monblason pennants.]
