[A wide advertisement in black on cream, its ground a gray halftone dot screen inside a heavy black frame. Broad curving bands of a lighter screen sweep across the ground like the outlines of mudguards. Three black registration plates hang from them, each lettered “51 84 AU 75” in white figures: at the left a large plate topped by a winged tail lamp with a round lens, in the middle a plate with an oblong lamp along its top edge and at the right a small tilted plate with a round lamp on a stalk. “PLAQUES DE POLICE ET LANTERNES” stands at the upper right in black roman capitals with small capitals for “DE” and “ET.” “Pour motos et vélos” is written in large black brush script across the lower left. At the right a cream disc carries “Ets” in a tall flourished script and “H. ARNAUD” in very tall condensed capitals with an inline stripe, and its lower half is black, with the trade line reversed in spaced sans-serif capitals. A cream band with rounded ends across the foot carries the address and telephone in bold sans-serif. No signature or agency mark appears.]

[This advertisement shares page 78 of L’Officiel du cycle with advertisements for Leroux rewinding, Bollée piston rings, Gama silencers, the Mokatrix coffee grinder and P.C. plug connectors.]
