[An advertisement in a ruled frame whose top edge is formed by two short heavy black bars, one at each corner, flanking “SPÉCIALITÉS” in open outline roman capitals. The name “GUTTACOLL” is set in very large sans-serif capitals, “DISSOLUTION” in light roman, and the products in a mix of heavy sans-serif names with lighter descriptions, “Véritable tresse pour guidons” in a rounded display face. At the lower right a drawing of the striped brake block (the « patin zébré »), seen as two curved, ribbed shoes with alternating dark and light bands, with “En vente partout” written beneath it in a slanting hand script. The closing lines are in bold italic and light spaced capitals, and the stand line in bold italic sans-serif under a rule. “LA PLUS ANCIENNE” and “50 ANS D’EXISTENCE” stand at either end of one line under “DISSOLUTION”. No signature or agency mark. Type and drawings from the reverse of the leaf show through the paper.]

[This advertisement shares page 125 of L’Officiel du cycle with an advertisement for Rutter, held here as its own record.]
