[A ruled advertisement in black and white. “CASQUE GENO” stands across the head in heavy shaded roman capitals. Two helmets are drawn in halftone from photographs: at the upper right a hard shell with a padded roll round its brim, a strap across the crown and a long ear flap, and at the lower left a racing helmet of padded leather straps — a broad band round the brow with four strips arched over the crown and a chin strap with a buckle. The two lines of description are set in a light sans-serif beside each drawing, “Modèle Sport à bourrelet pour la moto” at the left of the first and “Modèle Course pour Cycliste” at the right of the second. “Vente en Gros” is set in bold sans-serif capitals and lower case above the foot, and the firm’s name, address and telephone close the panel in heavy roman. No signature or agency mark. Text from the reverse of the leaf shows through faintly.]

[This advertisement shares page 106 of L’Officiel du cycle with advertisements for Le Chemineau, Cholain and Bourrin Frères, each held here as its own record.]
