[A ruled advertisement in black and white, framed by a thin border and divided by rules into three bands. The top band holds the heading “OUTILS-CYCLE” in tall condensed capitals above three lines of slanted italic text at the left, and a halftone photograph at the right of a cylindrical gear-cutting hob with a bored center and rows of slanted teeth along its flutes. The middle band holds a boxed halftone drawing at the left of a domed cycle bell with a screw adjuster and a split clamp for the handlebar, shaded with fine dots and hatching. At the right the name “SONN-NETT” stands in heavy capitals in quotation marks over a double rule, then the description in a mix of light roman, bold italic and bold capitals, closing with “Toutes couleurs” in bold condensed type above a full-width double rule. The bottom band gives the firm’s name “FOURETS frères,” in very large heavy type with “Constructeurs” in italic at the right, followed by the head office address and telephone line between pairs of dots and dashes, then the Paris depot line and three branch lines with the town names in bold italic. No signature or agency mark is visible, and no text from the reverse of the leaf shows through.]

[This advertisement shares page 188 of L’Officiel du cycle with an advertisement for Wippermann, held here as its own record, and one for Meyrat side stands for motor machines.]
