[A ruled advertisement in two colors, red and black on cream, set in a single rectangular frame. A four-line headline runs across the top in widely letterspaced black roman type, with the words “VAP et MISTRAL” on the fourth line in red slab-serif capitals. Below it a wide halftone photograph shows a cyclomoteur in profile against a plain gray studio ground: a bicycle-style frame with a padded saddle, a rear carrier rack and a fender over the rear wheel, a black engine unit between the wheels with a center stand beneath it, upswept handlebars with a lamp at the front and a telescopic front fork. Under the photograph the firm’s name “fonlupt” stands in very large heavy red lowercase letters. Beneath it five lines of widely spaced black roman text continue the headline. At the lower left an engraved drawing in red, black and white shows two oil tins labeled “MOTUL MIX COURSES pour moteurs 2 temps”, a large rectangular can with a screw cap and a smaller round tin in front of it, each with a winged emblem above the name. At the lower right, between two rows of red asterisks, four lines of red italic type with the brand name in bold red capitals state the lubrication. A ruled line closes the panel, with the factory address at the left in sans-serif type and the Salon du Cycle address and stand number at the right, separated by a curly brace. No signature is visible.]

[This advertisement shares page 173 of L’Officiel du cycle with an advertisement for A.R.O., held here as its own record.]
