[A small upright advertisement in black on cream, framed by a double rule. At the head a drawn device fills the width: the word “RAYONS” is set on a curve in fat block capitals whose faces are filled with a fine dot screen and whose sides are drawn as shaded slabs, with the three initials laid across its lower half in larger block capitals, solid white with heavy cast shadows. Six spokes radiate outward from behind the letters, each drawn as a plain line ending in a small round head marked with a tiny letter. Below the device the registration line is set in roman with the first word underscored, then the five classes of use in bold sans serif capitals, one to a line, and the short-spoke specialty in roman with one word underscored. A short rule follows, and the firm’s name closes the panel in large bold sans serif capitals with the raised “ts” of the abbreviation set small, over the village, department and telephone number. No second color, no agency mark and no artist’s signature appear.]

[This advertisement shares page 172 of L’Officiel du cycle with advertisements for Duprat, Blindex, Bufflier, ALC, Maxi-Car, NAP and Elté, each held here as its own record.]
