[A tall narrow advertisement in white on a dark gray panel inside a ruled border, text only in its head and line engravings below. Six names stand one under another in heavy sans-serif capitals, CHRISTOPHE, LAPIZE and ZEFAL in the largest size, SOLIBLOC in a lighter and more widely spaced face, then TIRE-STOP and AFA in heavy capitals again. Below them the panel is filled with line-engraved drawings in light tones on the dark ground: two slanting pumps at the left, the larger lettered ZEFAL with a ring near its head and a round AFA tag at its foot, a smaller pump beside it lettered with a worn name, then lower on the barrels the words ZEFAL course, TORNADE and PROCÉDÉ SOLIBLOC along the tubes; a domed bicycle bell with a clamp strap at the right center; and at the bottom two toe clips drawn around the pump barrels, the one at the left lettered CHRISTOPHE along its metal strap, the one at the right with a buckled strap lettered Lapize beside a round AFA stud. No address, signature or artist mark is visible.]

[This advertisement shares page 86 of L’Officiel du cycle with an advertisement for Onoto, held here as its own record, and one for Gurtner carburetors.]
