SALON DU CYCLE : Porte de Versailles — Stand 73

[A tall single-column advertisement inside a thin ruled frame, nearly filled by a black panel. The five brand names are set at the top right of the panel in white sans-serif capitals of descending size (“SOLIBLOC” in a lighter weight). Below them, white line drawings on the black ground: a Zéfal frame pump laid diagonally, lettered “ZEFAL” near its head and “ZEFAL course” with a star and “PROCÉDÉ SOLIBLOC” along the barrel; an AFA dome bell with its handlebar clamp, its tab lettered “AFA” and “MADE IN FRANCE”; and, at the foot, a Christophe toe clip stamped “CHRISTOPHE” with a strap passing through it, the strap’s keeper lettered “Lapize” in script. The Salon line is set in black below the panel. No signature or agency mark. Faint show-through of text lines from the other side of the leaf appears above and below the black panel; it is not part of this advertisement.]

[This advertisement shares page 46 of L’Officiel du cycle with an advertisement for the Rustines repair patches.]
